Monsoons



    Monsoons are back with a bang !!!!

   Love the rains...Its heavy rainfall over here ...love the pitter patter and pools on the road...

  A cup of steaming hot coffee and hot samosa ...yummyyyyyy

  I love the smell of mushy clothes ,the drizzle ,heavy pounding of the down pour .

 Hats off to you Anjali Menon......Such an exciting and lovely film. Full of life and yet the irony of an elderly couple living under the same roof for 40 years and then both getting out to find their own happiness...

How simple relations can get complicated and others influence can destroy the happiness and pure joy...

                                                                 Wayanad- every visit is enticing.....

                               Each time I pay a visit there is something or other that will make the stay memorable and enjoyable .   This time it was none other than the unexpected visit of the biggest forest animal ..yes the mighty tusker ..I woke up hearing the sound of the cracker around 05 : 30 AM in the morning...Then there was the usual goo gaas of the tribal people who  are residing around .....I along with my co sister went down to take a look both our husbands shooed us back so we sneaked out into the balcony.Lot more crackers and goo gaas followed .It seemed one coconut tree was down but unfortunately the tusker couldnt even start off with his breakfast. He showed his anger by blowing his trumpet which send shivers all around...Though I could not get  a glimpse of him the sound waves itself created an impact .

                          The second thriller was the folk song programme by the musical troupe.. WOW is the word .There is nothing like tribal music and beat .Be it  the   African tribal  music,Michael Jacksons All I wanna say is that they dont really care about us or the Punjabi Bhangra,Music needs no language and there is no barrier to it...the naadan pattu enriched and produced an overflowing energy which entranced me for the rest of the day....Even after reaching back am still engulfed in the musical trance...

22nd of December :- Time for a get together...Really had fun !!!!
   
       After so many years had a funtoosh from the moment we landed.

      It was like going back to how many 20 years back ?????

After all life is so unpredictable ...But I loved the fun ...it was good to be young again...

One goes through all phases ,you see different faces all along...but family is what matters most!!!!

The belongingness of family and the relationships r just superb ...

The 3rd generation also should know the bonding ...

                         Variety at its level best.  For non-vegetarians you can have a feast .stuffed,chinese, you name it you get it !!!!  Lovely ambience ,clean and excellent service.Just loved their cheese dosa which reminds one of pizza. Sufficient quantity with sufficient quality.Situated in Chakka junction .Whenever you feel like having a variety of dosa , just drop in .

                       

                                                               

                                                                          Holiday Spree

                 Diwali Bonanza !!!!!   A trip to Neyyar ...Children splashed and sploshed all around .Had a nice time....Nature was at its level best...Drizzling all over and podding through the river in the boat. Acquarium was very colorful.Though the safari was not very fruitful,could only see one lioness having a sun bath far away from the drizzle and noise.She was lying so bored and looked down at us as we were  a bunch of circus clowns.What a majestic beast and sound of their  purr reverbating  all away from the river was so equally enticing and thrilling No wonder they have been bestowed as the royal family of the jungle.


               The heavy rainfall resulted in opening of the shutters of the dam.So the gushing water created an image of natural water falls.Walk through the bridge of the dam ,enjoying the light breeze and watching the sparkling lights all around was spectacular.

     But pockets empty so fast...........ultimately I HAVE TO think
